Rates & Policies:

Recording/Mixing Rates:

Studio rates include one of our outstanding resident engineers, use of all of our in-house equipment, instruments and isolation booth.

Our standard hourly rate is $50/hr with a 4 hour minimum*.

We also offer a 'day rate' of 10 hrs for $450.00 flat*. 'Day rates' can not and will not be divided on to multiple calendar days.

If you book 2 consecutive days (20 hrs.), we'll give a 'bulk rate' of $800 flat* (what a deal!!!)

If you need more space, a larger console, want to use 2" analog tape for recording and/or mixing or need to record a whole band "live", we offer a 'Studio Upgrade Package".
email us for more specific information about the Studio Upgrade Package.

* = These rates do not apply to the Studio Upgrade Package, please contact us for more info.

Mastering Rates:

Our mastering rate is $50/hr if the client is not present during the mastering of the recording with ONE free update if something needs to be corrected.

Our mastering rate is $75/hr if the client wishes to be present during the mastering of the recording and any updates will be charged for time as well.

Payments:

We accept cash, money orders, certified or corporate checks and all major credit cards.

Sorry, personal checks are not accepted without a prior discussion with and permission of studio management.

For all sessions we require a 50% deposit, paid at the time of booking your session. The remaining balance is to be paid at the conclusion of your scheduled session. Or if you prefer, your deposit can roll-over to future bookings.

If at the end of a session there is a remaining unpaid balance of any amount, the client will not be permitted to leave the premises with any version of their work, in progress, finished or otherwise, until that balance is paid in full. Sorry but this is non-negotiable.

Booking & Cancellations:

We work on 'first come, first serve' basis so it's best to plan ahead and book early.

If you have booked a session, the session (and the clock) starts at your scheduled start time.

If a booking needs to be cancelled, it must be cancelled at least 7 days (1 week) in advance of your scheduled session in order to receive a refund of your deposit.

All bookings made within 1 week of the project start date are final.

Sorry, 'Booking and Cancellation' policies are non-negotiable.

Other Stuff:

If your project will consist of more than 3 songs, averaging more than 12 tracks each, you will need to purchase a 7200 rpm eSATA or Firewire (1394) external hard drive for the recording / editing / mixing / mastering / archiving of your work. They cost anywhere from about $135-$230 depending on how much space you will require... You can purchase this yourself at J&R World, New Egg, CompUSA, macmall.com, etc, or we can acquire it for you, paid for at the time you pay your deposit...

You will also be given an allowance of up to 2 audio CDs of your work at the conculsion of each session. All extra burns will cost $5 each.
